Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and Sastamala Municipal Education and Training Consortium (SASKY), search for a technological leap in exploiting digital knowledge of additive manufacturing.
The aim of the projects is that all stages from planning to the finished piece can be concretized in the research, development, learning and innovation environments. One goal is to speed up the manufacture of technological know-how in the Finnish industry and in particular regional SMEs and to increase the competitiveness of the processing as well as the value of companies and products.
The consortium will built in 3D Invest project modern operating environments. A wide range of different techniques allows the comparison of them and, where applicable can be selected according to needs.
The project aims in 3D Boost is to concentrate to build up expertise and cover a wide range of related 3D-printing areas, which works closely with the surrounding industry.
